The challenge
The property had kept a remarkable Art Deco entrance hall — marble, walnut panelling, arched openings — but the rest of the house suffered from a dated layout and services at the end of their life.
Our response
We treated the house under two distinct regimes: like-for-like restoration of the hall and the original features, and an openly contemporary intervention in the living spaces, bathrooms and circulation. The marble was lifted, cleaned and relaid; the panelling was stripped and French-polished.
All services were renewed: electrics compliant with the Belgian RGIE, plumbing, heating and ventilation. The terraces, garden and approaches were reworked to restore continuity between the building and the landscape.
