Bespoke joinery

Libraries, dressing rooms, staircases, doors, wall panelling and windows, drawn for one specific place.

Bespoke joinery that works goes unnoticed: it follows the slopes, absorbs the building's irregularities and makes services disappear. We survey after plastering, we draw, then we have it made in our partner workshop and install it ourselves.

What we take on

  • Full-height libraries and storage
  • Dressing rooms and integrated cupboards under sloping ceilings
  • Staircases in timber, metal or both
  • Doors, frames, panelling and wall linings
  • Worktops: oak, marble, natural stone
  • Timber and timber-aluminium windows, restoration of period windows

Who it is for

Lofts to be converted, rooms with awkward geometry, projects where fixed furniture is part of the architecture.

[ Frequent questions ]

Do you draw the joinery yourselves?

Yes, from a survey taken after plastering, and you receive dimensioned drawings before production starts.

Which timbers do you use?

Most often oak, ash and walnut, solid or as veneer on board depending on use. You see the samples before ordering.

How long between order and installation?

Allow six to ten weeks of manufacture. That is why joinery is priced and confirmed early in the schedule.

Can lighting and ventilation be integrated?

Yes, they are planned from the drawing: cable routes, built-in grilles, supply for sockets and LED strips.

Do you restore period windows?

Where the timber is sound, restoration with slim double glazing is often preferable to replacement, particularly on inventoried buildings.
