Structural works
Foundations, masonry, concrete, roof structure, extensions and roof raises: everything that carries the building.
Structural work is the part of a site you cannot put right later. An undersized foundation or neglected waterproofing costs ten times more two years on. We work with a structural engineer on every structural intervention, and we document everything that will be covered up.
What we take on
- Foundations, underpinning, micropiles
- Traditional masonry and blockwork, reinforced concrete
- Steel and timber beams, lintels, openings in load-bearing walls
- Extensions, outbuildings, roof raises
- Roof structure, roofing, zinc work and waterproofing
- Façades: render, repointing, external insulation
Who it is for
Extension or roof-raise projects, older houses needing structural repair, architects looking for a contractor for the weathertight shell.
[ Frequent questions ]
Do you work with a structural engineer?
Systematically as soon as a load changes. The calculation comes with the quote, not after it.
Do you photograph what gets covered up?
Yes. Every hidden stage — foundations, reinforcement, waterproofing, conduits — is photographed and included in the handover file.
Does an extension always need a permit?
In Brussels most extensions do. Some minor works are exempt; the cases are listed by urban.brussels and must be checked project by project.
Do you work in apartment buildings?
Yes, including in co-ownership. We then adapt hours and access, and provide the managing agent with the schedule and insurance certificates.
What warranty covers structural work?
Ten-year liability, compulsory in Belgium for works affecting stability and the weathertight shell. Our certificate is attached to every quote.
